We are pleased to provide you with a proposal for an ten day trip to Israel in June 2010. The proposal is based on the itinerary outline below and covers the Israel land package only.
The aim of the tour is to create a better understanding of and between Christianity, Judaism and Islam with lectures from some of Israel’s most outstanding educators. Visiting Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Jaffa and Nazareth.
Israel Land Package:

The prices below are based on double occupancy and include:
- 6 overnights at the Mercaz Shimshon Guest House
- 4 overnights at the Mishkenot Ruth Daniel Guest House
- Travel by air conditioned bus each day as per the attached itinerary (excluding Shabbat), including group transfer from/to the airport
- Experienced, licensed tour guide with the group for length of trip
- Full "Israeli breakfast" each morning, 3 lunches, 4 dinners
- Entrance fees to all sites, speakers as per attached program
- Medical insurance (for participants up to age 74) and limited luggage insurance. Medical insurance is available for participants over age 74 for an additional $3 per day
Not included in price:
- Tips for the guide and driver (recommended minimum tips would be $5/day per person for the guide, $3/ day per person for the bus driver,) and $10 for restaurants. We strongly suggest this amount be pre-collected in cash prior to departure by the group leader.
- Tips for hotel staff, at your discretion
- Airfare, airport taxes
- Transportation on the first day, from Ben Gurion Airport to Jerusalem
- Transportation for surplus luggage should the luggage exceed the amount that can be carried on the bus.

Please note that the above prices apply only to the attached itinerary. Changes to the itinerary may affect the price.
Payment schedule:
Initial Deposit: $100 per person on initial expression of interest. Then:
A payment of $500 per person for the land package is due on January 10, 2010. This amount is fully refundable until May 10, 2010. There is a $350 cancellation fee per person charged by The Saltz Education Center for cancellations after that date. The Saltz Education Center will not charge a cancellation fee in the event the trip is cancelled due to war or other extreme security situation
Balance Due: The balance is due May 1, 2010
Additional cancellation fees for Land:
For cancellations within one month of the trip date participants would in addition be responsible for any cancellation fees imposed by the hotels or other suppliers. We strongly suggest that participants purchase travel insurance to cover any cancellation fees should they be incurred.
Payments will be made by bank transfer to the via the Australian Council of Christians and Jews to the Saltz Education Center/World Union for Progressive Judaism Experience bank account in Israel. We look forward to working with you.
